Please provide the following details at the checkout page:
- Describe the problem you are having in as much detail as possible: What happens when you use the device, do you receive any errors? Do you hear any unusual sounds? If somebody has looked at the device for you what did they suspect the problem was?
- Provide a list of critical files to determine if the data recovery work completed is deemed successful. The aim is always to recover all files if possible. But in some cases the disk may only work for a short period of time and only the most critical files can be saved before the disk fails again. List the most important folder names and file names. (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents, Desktop Folder, Outlook PST File, C:\Myob18\companyfile.myo).
- Describe what attempts you or anybody else made to recover the data so far? Did you put your device in the freezer, physically opened it up, made changes to the circuit board or anything else?
I will do an initial assessment of the issue and determine if the issue can be resolved through standard data recovery by Highway Computers.
If it requires advanced disaster data recovery by Payam, it will involve the following steps:
- I will provide the delivery address to send your device to.
- I will provide Payam’s quote, within two business days after the device has been received.
- If you approve the quote:
- Recovery will be performed within the quoted turn-around time.
- Results will be emailed including a file list and a short video showing recovered data once recovery is complete.
- If you approve the recovered data result the recovery will be sent to you.
- If you decline the quote:
- The device will be returned to you at no extra cost. The return delivery is normally $20 but is free through Highway Computers.
